Sessions & Fees

Minimum Session Requirements:

Here at East Anton Nursery, we are open 51 weeks of the year between 8am and 6pm. We offer term time only places to a limited number of children 3 years and above. Both of these options are subject to availability. Please see below for the requirement for each type of place. There is a requirement to attend a minimum of 2 days or equivalent.

Staff Training Days 2023/2024:

The nursery is closed for 3 formal staff training days per year, you are not charged for these days.

The staff training days for 2023 are Tuesday 3rd January 2023, Tuesday 30th May 2023 and Tuesday 29th August 2023 – you are not charged for these days.

The staff training days for 2024 are Tuesday 2nd January 2024, Friday 12th April 2024 and Thursday 29th August 2024.

Christmas Closure Days:

The nursery is closed from Thursday 21st December 2023 and re-opens on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. You are not charged for these days, however you will be charged for the bank holidays. The bank holiday dates during the Christmas closure are 25th December 26th December 2023 and 1st January 2024.

Bank Holiday Closure Days 2023:

The Nursery is closed for Bank Holidays. These days are chargeable. The Bank Holidays for 2023 (excluding Christmas and New Year) are as follows:

Fees are inclusive of:

• Healthy meals, snacks and drinks
• Cows milk for children of all ages
• Nappies & wipes (Finkley East Anton Nursery & Pre-School’s chosen brand) – Nappy cream to be provided by parents
• Outings to the farm and local points of interest
• French/Spanish Lessons (when available)
• Coyote Fitness or Rugby Tots (when available)
• Shoes on Theatre (when available)

Term Time

Early Club 7:30am – 8 am is £5 per session, payable in advance via the parent area.

Term Time Only

We offer term time only places to a limited number of children 3 years and above. These sessions follow the Hampshire term dates https://www.hants.gov.uk/en/educationandlearning/schoolholidays

Payment Terms

Fees are calculated over 51 weeks of the year (unless term time only) and payable monthly by bank transfer or childcare vouchers before the 1st of every month (we accept most childcare vouchers) in advance of sessions. All sessions contracted for must be paid for, including those, which fall on a Bank Holiday. No reductions are made for time off due to holidays, sickness or other absences. You can book additional sessions if the setting has the availability to accommodate them. 6 weeks notice is required if you wish to cancel your child’s place or reduce/change their sessions.

Nursery Education Funding

We are approved providers of Hampshire County Council’s free early year’s educational grant for 2, 3 and 4-year olds. Three and four-year old funding is available for all children from the term after their third birthday regardless of family circumstances. We will supply you with all the required information and parent declaration forms for you to complete, as your child reaches the appropriate age. This funding does not cover certain sundries, activities, visits and hot meals so if a child is using the grant a daily charge of £8.95 will be payable. Children eligible for 2-year-old funding and EYPP may qualify for a discount.

Registration & Deposit

To register your child at Finkley Down Farm Nursery and Preschool please complete a registration form. A £50 (non-refundable) administration fee is payable to cover the administration in registering your child.

Once the required sessions have been confirmed a £100 deposit is payable to hold the sessions. This deposit is refunded once your final invoice has been cleared in full.

Children eligible for 2-year-old funding and EYPP may qualify for a reduction in administration fees.
